I heard and saw Rob present at a division retreat for the Strategy and Business Development team at Baystate Health in the fall of 2005. The group had just spent the morning listening to one speaker after another lead us through reams of material. We were tired, and looking forward to lunch as a time to relax and talk about the highlights of what we had heard.

Halfway into the meal, Rob came on. In just a few minutes, using his juggling as a metaphor for keeping life in balance, he effectively tripled the energy in the room as he caught our imaginations and then zinged us with a series of noteworthy messages. Using rhyme to match the rhythm of his amazing acrobatics, he sent many of us scrambling for scraps of paper to jot down his original, thought-provoking aphorisms – one after another he delivered them, bounce around and throw ‘em again.

The beauty of Rob’s work is that it combines high entertainment value and high level content – tickling fancy and intellect simultaneously. My only regret of the day is that we did not tap Rob earlier, as I believe he would have been a valuable resource in helping to shape the flow of the morning. I have seen Rob lead a creativity workshop in another setting, and was equally impressed by his supportive facilitation style and the pacing with which he introduced his material.

So please consider this my wholehearted endorsement of Rob Peck, and get ready for a fun event that will leave a lasting impression!
